In 2012 I engineered demo sessions for Franz Ferdinand, which saw them working toward their 2013 album “Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action”. Sessions took place at Nick McCarthy’s studio in Hackney, and Alex Kapranos’ studio in Moniaive, Scotland. I didn’t expect anything I’d worked on to appear on the album, but was very happy to get a credit when the demo version formed the basis for this song.
